Depending on individual client needs; sessions may be scheduled to address any part of their treatment plan that is not being addressed in group sessions. At times, clients require assistance with communication between themselves and their family members or spouse. With Individual and Family Counseling, we are here to help, in the effort to develop healthy relationships within their environment. Bridgeway Treatment Services, LLC now has two on staff mental health therapists ready to work with you on a vast array of individual and family counseling needs. Barbara Woodworth is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington with 18 years of experience in the field. She has specialized training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) using mindfulness techniques and practices to treat a range of challenges. Michael F Murray Jr. is a Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) graduating from the University of Washington in June of 2014 who has been working at Bridgeway for the last 8 years specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which uses Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance skills to deal with emotional issues in daily life. All of Bridgeway ‘s professional staff can provide individual, couple and family counseling to help resolve personal problems and deal effectively with life events as they are all Licensed Certified Counselors of higher . The goal of treatment is to help couples create better communication skills and provides a safe place where two people can work out their difficulties in order to heal and create a happier, healthier relationship. This is achieved by working with our therapists, who will be focused on teaching relationship tools and strategies as part of a coaching-styled approach developing better coping strategies, as well as interpersonal effectiveness skills.
